Some may say that Courtenay Valenti’s life began under dramatic circumstances as she found herself with an unlikely fan in President Lyndon B. Johnson (seen above, showing her a basket of puppies) Courtenay’s father, famed MPAA head Jack Valenti, was a trusted advisor to the president, which placed her in rare circles and resulted in the above photo, among many timeless others.
Courtenay, who is currently President of Production and Development for Warner Bros. Pictures, is also an instrumental supporter for MPTF and a member of the MPTF Social Services Governing body that helps assess financial assistance needs for those in the industry. Courtenay spoke with our own Chief Development Officer, Courteney Bailey, where they discussed Courtenay’s colorful past, her obsession with the entertainment industry, a “multitude of pinch-me moments,” and what the difficult Covid time has taught her.
