Each generation of entertainment industry workers faces new challenges, and MPTF has been there every step of the way with new and innovative services and ideas to help with life’s obstacles. Identifying, understanding, and developing new programming is the focus of our new Chief Innovation Officer, Linda Healy, NP, who launched MPTF’s innovative and nationally recognized Palliative Care program in 2005. “Many great ideas come from people doing other work here on campus,” Linda explains of her role, which she sees as “helping to get those ideas off the ground, not only to better the care of people we serve on campus and in the community, but also to develop a national model for the healthcare and social services communities at large.
Solving new problems while bringing together everyone from nurses to social workers to volunteers is something we can do together because “we have to explore opportunities to do everything possible for our family out there in the community.” Keep an eye out for new developments as we take care of our own for many generations to come.
