MPTF is excited to announce we’re working with a new development on the 18 acres of land adjoining our campus in Woodland Hills. California Commercial Investment Companies (CCI), whose principals are local and work out of Westlake Village, is creating a new life plan community offering independent residences and access to higher levels of care to people 60 and over, with over half the property reserved as green space. Filled with amenities from walking trails to game courts and a resort-style pool and wine bar, the campus managed by Life Care Services will be a tranquil space designed for stimulation and well-being.
We caught up with CCI’s Executive Vice President Acquisitions & Asset Management, Danielle Hastie, to find out more about what’s in store next door. “It’s such a beautiful location at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains,” she said. “The people living on this site will be able to hike and exercise without having to leave the campus. We’re featuring the protected natural growth surroundings on the site like a majestic oak tree at the entrance, and we’re talking about putting a vineyard in there, too. We’re building something not for today, but for twenty years from now. We’re talking about infrastructure and technology that doesn’t even exist yet.
