L.A.’s “mansion tax” impacts nonprofits working to provide affordable housing

Many of you have asked how you can help MPTF secure the return of the $1.65 million in “Mansion Tax” it paid to the City of Los Angeles in late 2023 following the sale of its undeveloped land on the Woodland Hills campus.

The sales proceeds is dedicated to support MPTF’s mission services, specifically the annual cost of $3.0 million in affordable housing costs for industry retirees.
