Wildfire Relief

Aid and resources for those impacted by the Southern California fires

Our hearts are with everyone whose homes have been destroyed and lives turned upside down by the Southern California fires. MPTF is working to help those in our entertainment community, working and retired, where aid is needed.

For assistance and financial support, please call us at 323-634-3888

MPTF is currently providing services including financial assistance, providing supportive counseling, and assistance navigating insurance needs. Our social services team is already reaching out to our high-risk community in fire-impacted areas and receiving calls from working and retired industry members with needs including medical supplies and food. Our team can help navigate the county, state, and federal resources available to victims of the fire as well as Red Cross and others.

If you’re feeling challenged or overwhelmed by the numerous requirements and options, we are here to help. Thousands of our entertainment family have been displaced or challenged by this unprecedented tragedy, and you don’t have to deal with it alone.

Coming Wednesday, March 5 from 12-1:30 pm PT, “When the Smoke Clears: Understanding Your Rights as a Tenant After the LA Fires” is a session filled with information on renters’ and tenants’ rights. We’ll be joined by nonprofit public interest law firm Public Counsel to make sure that you are well-equipped when it comes to knowing your rights as a tenant in the aftermath of the LA Fires. The webinar will cover: Tenants’ rights and landlord obligations in the aftermath of the fires • Price-gouging protections • Anti-harassment protections • Tools and strategies for achieving the best outcome for your housing situation
