Heartbeat of Hollywood Lite

Small Course. Big Heart.

We hope this note finds you, your family and friends well during this unprecedented moment in all of our lives. This year, the Heartbeat of Hollywood Golf Tournament would be celebrating its 42nd year and the Heartbeat of Hollywood Lite Tournament its 10th year. With no current visibility on when the public health mandates of social and physical distancing will resolve, we feel that it is in the best interest of both MPTF and our supporters to indefinitely postpone the June 1st event.

While the golf tournaments can’t proceed, I don’t need to tell you that the needs of our entertainment community have never been larger and MPTF’s role has never been bigger or more daunting. The impact of COVID-19 immediately led to current productions shutting down and new productions getting canceled. Within a week, over 120,000 members of our work family were without employment and with only a very limited safety net. For that reason, my firm has committed to continuing our planned support of this year’s Heartbeat of Hollywood at $100,000 and we are adding $20,000 to reflect these very tough times and big needs. We hope that you too will consider continuing your support because now more than ever, our entertainment community needs your help.

Thank you as always for your support, your loyalty, and your advocacy. Down the road, we look forward to sharing some good news about next year’s event!

With Much Gratitude,

Mickey Segal
